Hi ! I’m trying to find a “girly group song” , quite old (50’s?) , that i have heard much times (pretty liked Ray Charles ’s “what i’d said” but i can’t find it.. Ii has a very known chorus : ” I said : la – la -la -ala ” and something about “mashed potatoes?” I’m sure that u know it!! but i can’t get it!

Ok guy, I really enjoy reading your blog, but this is just completely wrong. What happened to your usual sense of backtracking and historical correctnes? The deal with this song is, it’s awful. But not only is it awful, its an awful knock off. A knock off of the edit of the Frankie Valli song by french dj and edit guy Pilooski. This edit was huge all over europe AND parts of the States. And also was created and released in early 2007. The video is on youtube. The facts are all there. You slippin! Also, checkout Pilooski’s other edits. And stop listening to this trash!
