This is just a few examples of the string of solid “let me introduce myself” rhymes unleashed throughout this attention-grabbing highlight from the emcee’s latest =War Paint= tape, which expertly bundles together sobering truths and personal details about family struggles with sex-themed stabs of humor…all of which is delivered in an urgent, hungry delivery infectiously matched in energy by producer Ibe’s rousing swells of horns, organs, background vox “la-la-la”‘s and spirited hand-claps (the beat’s gospel-soaked vibe implying God’s unwavering glare on Kris’ every move).
