Waka Flocka Flame featuring Nicki Minaj, Tyga & Flo Rida “Get Low”

Sweating your life off in the sticky-hot season just wouldn’t be right without the assistance of some of Waka Flocka Flame‘s addicting ratchet-hop, and so the Summer Jam gods have intervened to make sure we are amply supplied, bringing on the arrival of Waka’s sophomore effort Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family dropping next Tuesday.

Interestingly enough, the collection actually looks like it has the potential to break out from being more than a strip club/ street corner staple by the sounds of smash-in-waiting “Get Low”, an Auto-Tune-glossed, crunk-n-b-flavored bid for crossover attention that finds the overly-caffeinated emcee using his hyped flow to mack-holler his way into some club-floor dime’s drawls while fighting for attention from stuttering synth-bedazzle seemingly kidnapped from some never-before-heard Usher jam, and guest turns from Nicki “Pop star but I fuck him like I’m still hood” Minaj, a chick-mesmerized Tyga (“So what’s up/ To the bad bitch/ In the corner/ With her ass big/ And her hair long/ Imma grab it/ She call me ‘Daddy’ but I’m a bastard”) and Flo Rida, surprisingly effective in the will.I.am role of this bizarro universe, hood-hop-tweaked version of the Black Eyed Peas line-up.
